ATP announced today the appointment of Eno Polo as the new CEO (CEO), effective immediately.

Polo brings extensive global leadership experience in the sports, fashion and consumer industries. He has served as a player representative on the ATP board since 2021, a position that gives him a deep understanding of ATP’s operations, the landscape of stakeholders and the long-term strategic priorities. This experience makes him uniquely positioned to play the role of CEO immediately with direct impact and continuity.

As CEO, Polo will oversee ATP’s global operations and continue to drive OneVision – a transformative program designed to grow sport, increase fan engagement, and provide long-term value to players, games and partners.

“Eno is a dynamic and accomplished leader who understands both the business landscape and the complexity of professional tennis,” said ATP Chairman Andrea Gaudenzi. “His tenure on the ATP board gave him a direct understanding of the challenges and opportunities of the sport. It was an exciting time for tennis, and there was a great opportunity to move forward in a changing landscape. We are delighted to welcome Eno as CEO as we continue to advance the sport with our OneVision strategy.”

“Tennis is a moment of change in global sport and business. The opportunities ahead are enormous,” Eno Polo said. “After working closely with players and tournaments, I know the power of collaboration. Being honored to be the CEO of ATP and help lead the organization’s next growth phase.”

All of this adds up

Polo was a former professional tennis player who was born and raised in Kenya and represented the Kenyan national team in the Davis Cup before starting his international business career. He has since served in senior leadership positions such as Nike, Juventus Football Club, Havayanas, Global Brand Group and Medpat.

Polo succeeds Massimo Calvelli, who resigns as CEO in June 2025 after more than five years in leadership. He will be stationed at the ATP’s London office.
