Giants should consider rotational changes

The Giants rotated throughout the spring training. Logan Webber,,,,, Robbie Ray and Justin Verlander Locked in the top three. Baseball Operations President Buster Posey said in December that the team remains committed to Jordan Hicks As a beginner. The final work will go to one of three young weapons: Kyle Harrison,,,,, Hayden Birdsong or Landen Roupp.
Harrison seemed to be the leader in entering the camp. If so, he quickly got rid of it. Lefty allowed eight runs in six 2/3 spring innings. The Giants chose him before opening day. (He has since started four starts in Triple-A Sacramento, allowing nine runs despite recording 21 strikeouts in 15 innings.) It comes down to Birdsong and Roupp, who nodded. Birdsong destroys the camp with long-term relief workers.
This decision was surprising. Birdsong started his 16 major league appearances last year. As a rookie, he turned to ERA as a 4.75 ERA in 72 innings. During spring training, he kept going out under the light, fired 12 innings of a single shot, had 18 strikeouts, and didn’t take a walk. Roupp's camp was good but impressive, giving up 5 strikeouts and taking a walk in 12 frames. He also has more experience in the bullpen as he started only four of his 23 appearances last year.
San Francisco may feel good about their decision to spin jobs. The 26-year-old Righty scored a 4.09 running average in the first four rounds, with a stunning strikeout rate of 31.2%. He recorded two high-quality starts for the first time in his Major League Baseball career on Saturday and made his first seven innings in his MLB career when he put the Angels on two runs while beating nine innings.
Although Roupp won the ongoing boot look, the rest of the rotations besides Webb have been struggling. Although the Giants finished seventh in the Major League Baseball (MLB), the Giants achieved a record of 15-9. They should have considered making changes.
