These brands are hot for this club fitter in 2025

Every year is a big year for a large golf club company and has a continuous stream of new versions and technology to help golfers do their best.
With the end of the golf season, another round of clubs are probably launching around the corner, which brands have the most years in the right bay?
In this week’s golf episode, Fleming Island, Florida owner Bryan Laroche, the owner of Bryangolf, Florida, answered the question for different device categories.
He started with the Ping driver.
“A lot of ordinary wood, a lot of ping drivers, all drivers,” Laroche said. “Just a lot of [G440] SFT. Their 9 degrees in SFT is one of the most underrated moves in my mind in custom club history. ”
With Ping’s G440 line released early this year, the company added a 9-degree loft option to the towing bias SFT model, which represents direct flight technology. In previous rows, the SFT header only has a 10.5° loft available.
PING G440 SFT custom driver
The G440 Driver Family (Max, LST, SFT) is optimized with multiple advancements to deliver higher ball speeds, including Ping’s deepest CG and shallower, thinner faces, while continuing to ensure the game-changing forgiveness that Ping drivers expect. Golfers who require slice correction technology are best suited for the G440 SFT (Direct Flight) option, which has two positions (Draw and Draw+), adjustable 23g back weight. A highly tolerant, lighter head weight can make the back weight heavier. Faster faces are shallower and thinner, and the face increases the ball speed to increase distance, and a higher launch. The sound design is new shaping, the carbon crown and inner ribs will create a soft impact experience. Freestyle design saves weight to lower CG and increases forgiveness. Allow more heel flexion to stabilize the face.

This solves a huge problem for the target SFT player, Laroche said.
“I can’t fit too many people into 10.5 because most guys who need SFT, they’re not just struggling to fade out big fades, they’re also struggling,” Larochi said. “We’re able to get a lot of people into SFT.”
When it comes to Alans, La Roche says the titleists “enter the ropes from the top at the end of the summer”, their new 2025 T-Series lineup.
“You can just put anyone in the championship iron,” he said. “You can find some iron, especially if someone needs a little height. I know we talk in the right situation and every video we hear of Titleist, it’s 3DS, 3DS. The 3DS is real.”
