MLB Mail Bag: – MLB Trade Rumors

Mailbags this week entered potential Giants trade targets, long-range shot fronts for rotation trade candidates this summer, players who may retire after the season, and more.

Todd asked:

Since the Giants performed much better than expected, they did important things before the trade deadline. Who do you want the giants to pursue, or at least who should?

The Giants sat in the playoffs with a 15-9 record with a 47% chance. I agree they will hope to upgrade on the deadline.

On the offense, left field and first base seem to be potential areas that can be improved. Heliot RamosManning left field Manning Weles Field in his last 200 PAs dating back to last year's shooting percentage and didn't hit much. The Giants have some options in Triple-A, but there doesn't seem to be better than the possible 2-Minute Ramos. Browse the outfields of various unlikely playoff teams and I can see Taylor Ward It is a decent goal. However, I don't believe he is better than Ramos. Later, we will go to Luis Robert in this mail bag.

Bryce Eldridge Home run in yesterday's first year of Bat, if he quickly got into the triple and played well, I could see the fast track of the Grand Slam. Most importantly, I haven't seen the Giants' obvious position player yet – not yet reached the goal.

As I said last week, the Giants will need more start pitching Logan Webber. Landen Roupp and Justin Verlander Both were good against the Angels on the weekend. Robbie Ray It is deeply rooted in salary. Jordan Hicks It can end up in the bullpen, although he may not like that.

Sandy Alcantara It was the name on everyone's lips, he threw 98 behind and got the ground ball, although he didn't pitch well in four games. Sonny Gray It might be interesting, although he was not advised to give up his no-trade clause. What other pitchers may be available for the deadline?
