US Open 2025 results: Aryna Sabalenka defeats Amanda Anisimova to retain New York title

Anisimova has a hairless game – all the power, no subtle, she hopes to use it to beat Sabalenka to the court.
However, the fluctuations are too much and ultimately another reason for the failure of the emotional Grand Slam.
Anisimova came out and fired, and a flat ground wind blew as she occupied the edge.
It created three breakout points in the first match before Sabalenka recovered to hold, but breaking more winners did help her get a breakup 3-2.
But when she found herself in front, her nerves recovered.
She couldn’t solidify the ground upwind became loose and then made a shocking service game with double the 5-3 failure.
Sabalenka also easily shifted at her level, still steadily leading the way.
Anisimova cuts down an angry character while working in the opening service of the second set as the crowd continues to encourage.
When she trailed 2-1, the pressure told Anisimova, first slamming a ball high into the air and then covering her face with a towel.
The atmosphere between the guerrilla 25,000 fans became flat, but the mood changed when Anisimova broke into the tiebreak again.
Sabalenka’s record in the finals this year is very strong, and her confidence has taken a decisive lead before winning her 19th straight interruption.
“I know how hard these finals are,” Sabalenka said. “But after these huge losses, you’ll like it more.”
