Wall Street climbs more records of hopes to lower interest rates

NEW YORK (AP) – U.S. stocks are raising expectations that the Fed will soon lower interest rates to help the economy.
The S&P 500 climbed 0.4% last Friday. The Dow Jones industrial average rose 93 points, while Nasdaq Comprehensive rose 0.7%.
The action is much stronger in the bond market, with Treasury production falling after the latest updates to expectations in the U.S. job market. This raises expectations for the Fed to cut tax rates later this month. Despite the disappointing data on the job market, it is still not so weak that it screams a recession.
