Golf Business News – Hailin holds golf industry events

Earlier this week, a Media Day was held at Hailin Golf Club to introduce products from the historic Hampshire venue to a group of industry professionals.
Working with the team of traditional golf consultants in consulting positions at the club, invitations are sent to individuals in various departments within the golf industry to disseminate the information as widely as possible.
Steve Slinger, who was appointed as general manager of the Hayling Island-based club earlier last year, said: “We recognize that Hayling is not recognised enough because his goal is to address this concept and effectively convey that Hayling offers a high-quality link golf experience.”
Stuart Gillett from Legacy Golf Advisors added: “We are very aware that to spread the message and tell this story, a multi-channel approach is now needed. We focus on emerging social media figures, traditional golf media, and individuals engaged in golf tourism and club management. Golf courses in recent years have gradually blended this range in recent years and feel like we have listed this key at home with our guests.
Forty golfers compete in the four-man in the 6,527-yard champion’s linkage world, including Mike Harris, Callum Austin, Chris Lomas and Sam Jones.
After receiving his team bonus after the post-match dinner, Harris, co-founder of the marketing and PR agency The Loop, said: “A wonderful day in Hailin – it’s really a wonderful and pure connection to the South Coast. I first crossed the “Island” Bridge 20 years ago and have been back a lot. My last trip was three years ago and has been making a great deal since then. Tom McKenzie’s bold redesign work has been completely bedridden, hard work and attention to detail through course manager Graeme Roberts and his team, which means the links look great and provide a great test for golf.”
He added: “The focus on details is most obvious, the way to come up with T-shirts, greens, methods and bunkers – sharp, but with a true connection style. Add to the wild, natural Duneland, which offers a stunning 360-degree vision, and you have a truly memorable experience. His courses can be transformed and have a good environment, a friendly environment, a friendly environment. To support the bold vision of clubs and traditional golf consultants.”

The popularity of this link course is growing and now there are memberships in every category. In addition to operational enhancement and recent real estate investments, Slinger boils down to the fact that more people are aware of a quality link with the course relatively close to southwest London. Hayling is just 52 miles from the M25 and minutes from the M27, so it is a viable option for a great link day for those traveling from far and nearby.
“The first thing I started in that role last year was pricing for our non-member golf, using old versions of knowledge and experience, we designed a more cohesive strategy around the revenue of our visitors,” Slinger said. “From opening online tee booking to being more focused on generating available serve times with our members, it has a significant impact on the business. This means we can maintain value for members while hoping to enjoy exciting long-term investment opportunities for everyone.”
These include Mackenzie & Ebert, a leading golf course design company, implementing the overall course planning and further improving the practice facilities to ensure that the Hayling experience continues to get better and better.
