US Open 2025 results: British Joe Salisbury and Neal Skupski

The British vs. Joe Salisbury and Neal Skupski booked their spots in the U.S. Open semifinals after beating Czech duo Tomas Machac and Matej Vocel.

Salisbury and Skupski made it to the quarterfinals 7-6 (8-6) 6-3, taking a step to win their first Grand Slam title since joining forces.

The British who lost the French Open final in June will face Yuki Bhambri of India and Michael Venus of New Zealand in the last four.

Machac and Focel saved five breakout points in a tight opening game, but cancelled in the tiebreak.

The second set ended in just 39 minutes, with several rests helping the sixth seed.

Salisbury, 33, had previously enjoyed success at the U.S. Open – winning three consecutive men’s doubles titles with U.S. Rajeev Ram between 2021 and 2023.
