NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly joined Sirius XM NHL Network broadcaster Dave Pagnotta and Dennis Bernstein on the European Media Player Tour and was asked about the future of a decentralized draft. Interestingly, his last comment on the Split Draft has now won a day. You have to doubt whether the changes implemented by the NHL for the 2026 NHL draft are flat and there may be a chance to return to the centralized draft again in 2027. But again, we all think this happened in 2026.
