The taste of the harvest season in Bordeaux Cabot – Golf News

Cabot Bordeaux has launched golf and wine bags for those who want to taste French exquisiteness in the Médoc region of southwestern France.

The program is curated for those looking for a unique experience in areas with some of the best wines in the world. The experience perfectly arranged the harvest season, placing guests at the intersection of Médoc’s famous vineyards and France’s best golf courses.

The core of Cabot Bordeaux’s two highly acclaimed golf courses are both in the top 100 in France. The Châteaux Course, ranked 9th nationally, is a masterpiece of golf architecture – designed by Bill Coore in 1987. The link to Cabot’s expanding portfolio is strong, as Bill Coore also designed Cabot Cliffs in Canada and Cabot Saint Lucia in the Caribbean, producing two world-class courses within Cabot’s portfolio alongside his business partner, Ben Crenshaw.

The Vignes course also ranks second in the top 30 courses in France, offering a unique layout in the natural beauty of the region. Together, they make Cabot Bordeaux a special destination for identifying golfers.

Whether it’s part of the tour through wine in Bordeaux or a wider French-style itinerary, golf and wine packages are a great opportunity to explore the Médoc region.

Golf and wine packages include:

  • Two nights in classic double room with breakfast
  • One green fee per person (Châteaux or Vignes courses, subject to availability)
  • Three-course dinner per person (drinks not included)
  • A bottle of Bordeaux wine in the room as a welcome gift
  • In the famous Medoc Castle (excluding transport) at a visit and tasting wine tasting (excluding)
  • Free access to the spa at Cinq Mondes

The temperate climate of the area can be longer and more laid back than many other wine areas, and many Châteaux opens doors for hands-on experiences, wine tastings and unforgettable vineyard views. Harvest usually begins with early mature white grapes from late August to mid-September, followed by red varieties.

This offer can be used for short breaks or extended accommodation, and the price starts from €764 for 2 people.

Guests can improve their accommodation with a selection of wine adventures, such as blending their own retro in Pape Clément Châteaux route with a gourmet picnic, or enjoy exquisite elegance – enjoying old-fashioned car trips, private tastings, private tastings, and iconic golf massages on the spa.

From vineyards to fairways, Cabot Bordeaux captures the essence of French wine country and draws a huge attention to detail – offering a rare combination of world-class golf and wine experiences that are different from others.
