Arsenal has now reached a deal to sign Piero Hincapie with German club Bayer Leverkusen.
According to David Ornstein of Track and Field, they will be loaning the 23-year-old defender this season to buy him permanently for about €52 million.
If next summer’s move becomes permanent, the player will sign a five-year contract with the Gunners. Hincapie will now travel to Arsenal for medical treatment this weekend.
