Wyatt Kaiser is still unsigned in Chicago and they will soon have a crowded blue line
Stand report: When Frank Seravalli was asked about why the restricted free agents still had no signature when Chicago Blackhawks guard Wyatt Kaiser.
“Man, very interesting question, windy city hockey. Honestly, August 26 didn’t really take any time to think or watch.
But for the Chicago Blackhawks, it’s interesting that the defense they’re moving forward is where everyone will fit? They have a lot of young people on the back end, part of Kaiser, I think Kaiser and Allen might be your perfect, ideal, typical, third pair forward.
But when you consider some of the other guys out there (Ethan) Del Mastro, then you consider the steps this team and some youngsters take and bring it back to the AHL playoffs and taste some meaningful hockey.

There are many people taking a step forward. I think the Blackhawks are probably looking for 9 to 10 legitimate, realistic NHL defenders and someone has to keep going. I’m not saying it’s Kaiser, but just wondering how this all ends up working, because it really becomes a digital game, and I wonder if this is also a conversation about these contracts and where it ends up going. ”

“What I’m going to say is, the rosters are summarized. They have a lot of players’ feelings. This year they have a contract with 26 people. That’s actually probably the number.
But, as mentioned in the first-rate, I do think Leaves are still in conversation and still a possibility for Jack Roslovic. Brad Treliving is always hunting and I think they are in the search for a better place.
You know, you took Mitch Marner out and made a bunch of different smaller tweaks. And I think it’s really fun to see the look of the leaves start the camp.
