Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim admits “sometimes I want to quit”

Ruben Amorim admits he sometimes “hate” his Manchester United players and occasionally has the idea of resigning at Old Trafford.
Amorim has struggled since replacing Erik Ten Hag last November, winning just seven of his 29 Premier League games.
He was re-criticized Wednesday night when United crashed from the EFL Cup for a free throw shot that defeated Grimsby Town on either side 12-11.
After the game, Amorim made several sharp remarks, including his players who “have to speak loudly today” and suggest a lack of effort on a 90-minute most team.
I won’t change – Amorim
When asked about today’s comment, the Portuguese said: “Every time we fail or later, I will do so.
“It’s the way I do things, I’m going to be that way. I felt so frustrated and upset at that moment. And, again, you have a lot of experienced people talking about the way I should be performing with the media, more stable, more calm, more calm. I won’t be that way.”
When asked if the pressure got too high and he considered resigning, he added: “Sometimes I want to quit, sometimes I want to stay here for 20 years. Sometimes I like to be with the players, sometimes I don’t want to be with them.
Amorim felt like he walked away after Grimsby was embarrassed
Amorim admitted he was one of his futures after the match at Blundell Park on Wednesday.
When asked if he wanted to resign after the Grimsby game, he added: “I feel after the game. I can’t feel it right now. So it’s kind of like that. I think it’s the hardest part of the failure.
“Sometimes it’s not the result, it’s the way we lose that game or draw the game. It’s hard to accept. Because we can do better. In this moment, we cover the position, fighting for the ball, running, running, all these little things, and sometimes we get a little down.
