US Open 2025: Venus Williams vs. Leylah Fernandez

At the beginning of the season, former world No. 1 Williams was officially considered an inactive player and did not compete for a whole year.

Then, thanks to training in the tennis world on Wimbledon, she announced that she was ready to play again at the Washington Open, and was everywhere.
