Golf Business News – Cleveland introduces the brand new CBZ wedge

Cleveland Golf has once again launched the brand new CBZ Wedge with Z-Alloy.

This proprietary material first appeared in cavity design, making it the most advanced gaming improved model to date.

The latest wedge introduces a new performance secret that enhances the soft, responsive feeling of the blade with a cavity recovery. The result is a modern design that provides versatility, consistency and control where it matters most.

At the heart of the CBZ wedge is Z-Alloy, a revolutionary new steel formula specially developed by Cleveland Golf. The Z-Alloy is lighter, softer and built for performance, providing an unparalleled impact for golfers. In fact, the CBZ wedge is 25% higher than the previous CBX 4 postal code, while maintaining the durability and responsiveness of the Cleveland Golf’s Tour wedge wedge.

Joe Miller, product manager for Europe at Cleveland Golf, said: “When Z alloy was first developed, it was designed better than every wedge material on the market, including 431 stainless steels, usually found in cavity wedges. The 431 is certainly durable, certainly durable, and its hardness and lower density are within the range of feeling. Traditionally, travel-level feedback is associated with blade wedges.

Greater forgiveness, greater consistency

According to a consumer survey conducted in Cleveland, 87% of golfers play a forgiving-centric iron, the CBZ wedge provides enhanced forgiveness and consistency, but not at the expense of a soft feel and green versatility.

The CBZ wedge build is the same as the highly praised RTZ wedge with performance-driven DNA and incorporates technologies such as Zipcore, which refocuses the center of gravity closer to the impact area to improve MOI, control and rotation.

They also have Ultizip grooves that can be used to clean contacts and rotate consistently through the turf, while Hydrazip Face Technology enhances rotation in wet conditions, all optimizing the balance of the entire combination with Loft. Finally, the redesigned Gelback TPU insert (now 94% larger) helps suppress vibrations and even provides a smoother, quick-responsive feeling in unfortunate circumstances.

CBZ versatility

To add versatility, the CBZ wedge has a complete design option that allows players with inconsistent contacts to get more spin on the eccentric lens. For those not afraid of occasional open-ended shots, CBZ’s full-face blowing to grooves and extended high-foot areas helps maximize more creative photos for more consistent rotation, flight and stop power.

When choosing the right sole, Cleveland Golf makes a decision easily by pre-selecting each type of grinding. Both the CBZ and CBZ full wedges feature wear and tailor-made bounces to match the power of forgiveness and versatility of each model, so players get greater benefits from preferred groove lengths. Most importantly, each unique grinding has a front-line bounce chamfer to help the wedges get in and out of the turf easily.

CBZ comes in 15 different loft/bounce configurations, from 44°-60°, CBZ has 9 full faces, from 50°-60°.

custom made
For the first time players can choose custom camouflage and grip for their CBZ wedge, the first industry among equipment manufacturers in the cavity folding category. This exclusive option allows golfers to create wedges to showcase their unique style without sacrificing performance.
