First win for forgotten stars since Ryder Cup

Alex Noren made the final round at Belfry to win the 2025 British Masters and bagged $595,000.

The final round of five-fifth five-game matches is enough to stop Kazuma Kobori and win his first professional tournament since 2018 at the age of 16.

The 28-year-old Swedish kept cool to avoid competitive areas and won his first victory on the DP World Tour.

The $3.5 million event is beyond the meaning of the prize; the Masters also marks the last qualifying match for the European Ryder Cup team.

Alex Noren loves the clock tower

Noren is part of the 2018 Ryder Cup team in Europe, but has since struggled with their glory and the glory of Team USA.

Sweden has long talked about his admiration Brabazon coursesand his precise drive style proved once again well suited its demanding layout.

The victory also under pressure strengthened his reputation as one of Europe’s most reliable performers, reminding fans of his lasting class on the DP World Tour.

Shane Lowry loses Ryder Cup automatic qualification

Rasmus Højgaard made a T13 finish in England to steal the sixth and last automatic European Ryder Cup title, relegated Shane Lowry in the process.

The Danish star is now confirmed as a away game, who will face the US team at Bethpage Black.

Højgaard knows he needs to make the top 30 this weekend and deliver it, meaning the 2019 Open champion will now be selected in wildcards.

European captain Luke Donald has six wildcard options, and although Lowry is out of the automatic position, Lowry will be one of the picks’ locks.

European golf stars’ claims about one of Luke Donald’s Ryder Cup wildcards

Three-time Ryder Cup star Matt Fitzpatrick and highly rated Marco Penge both hoped their wildcards would like to lift the elevator and do well on the T6 at the Bell Tower.

The two ended the same mark with the same score and attracted Donald’s eyes at the key point, and his wildcard will stand out in New York.

Penge’s consistency throughout the week highlighted his steady rise on the DP World Tour, while Fitzpatrick showed a flash, making him the U.S. Open champion.

Instead, British Matt Wallace made his last call in the last audition of the week.

After the fight started on the weekend, he collapsed for five five shots, slid to T33 and damaged the chances in the dream European draft.
