NHL Rumor: Mason McTavish – Anaheim Ducks and Montreal Canadains

How much is a team getting Mason McVish from Anaheim Ducks? Will the Montreal Canadians separate that piece?
Shaun Starr Performance: Shaun Starr and Marco D’Amico talk about the potential availability of Anaheim Ducks RFA forward Mason McTavish. What is the duck looking for, and does it make sense for Montreal Canadians?
D’Amico: “This is a classic from Pat Verbeek, right? Where did he wait with RFAS. The most recent one is Trevor Zegras, right?
Starr: “Totally, but let me ask, if I ask, when they decided to leave Trevor Zegras, right? In my mind, when it was done at the time, I thought, OK, OK, they made up their minds. They prefer Anaheim’s Mason McTavish to Trevor Zegras.
That’s how I explained this decision, from the Southern California front desk. But here we are now talking about the strength or weakness that Mason McTavish may be moved.
NHL Rumor: The Future of Alex Ovechkin and Matthew Tkachuk’s Injury
So, I think every Canadian fan watching us now wants to see Mason McTavish. You know this is a six-foot-one guy, like he checked a lot of boxes,…”
D’Amico: “Call left.”
Starr: “Okay, the whole. You look at these, like everyone likes this proven angle, not what might become.
I mean, 140 NHL points and 229 NHL games. I mean, let’s take a break here and talk, Mason McTavish can use. Canadians are kicking tires, just like they should. Any responsible organization being rebuilt should at least ask.
What will this be and how much will it cost? I mean, what world does it exist? A real real world, like David Reinbacher. It’s Michael Hage, plus. Like, first round picks, plus your prospects, right? ”
D’Amico: “Yes. Even then, I don’t even think they’re interested in first-round picks. My colleague Jimmy Murphy recently published an article where he had sources showing him that the only thing that really caused Anaheim at this point is the current or future top deputy right-handed defender.
The Canadians have one in Noah Dobson and that’s not moving. Then, the Canadians have one in David Reinbacher’s projection mode. But I don’t think Canadians are going to spend a summer, but have two really good young pieces from the right side of the defense of (Logan) Mailloux and Reinbacher and then trade them when they trade Dobson.
I think when you look at the teams that win the Stanley Cup, they always have a locked, unshakable top four that can only swallow those few minutes, and if there is no overtime, there are 50 of the 60 minutes in each game. This is basically what Canadians have built, right? I think it makes sense to play with Dobson and (Kaiden) Guhle. I think it makes sense to end up playing Lane Hutson with David Reinbacher. Then you fill, you fill the third pair. If you want to be there, that’s OK. You can trade a pair of right image D. AlexCarrier can be extended. There may be a prospect to occupy this position. But ideally, your first four are locked and you can swap the bottom pairs.
And, if that’s the vision, you know what we’ve seen in the past from Jeff Gordon and the team he built, I don’t necessarily see Canadians trying to expose themselves to another by filling one hole similarly. Because, I say this, hen noah dobson was available initially, or when I mentioned Noah Dobson on the Canadians list, they returned to his tires in the spring, a lot of people said it would cost, you know, you know, Caulfield, (unreasonable) etc., right? Finally two first and Emil Heineman, because that happened.
I think that’s where Canadians are now. They are in a situation where they hope something will happen and let them extinguish. And I don’t think anything happened to Mason McTavish right now. I think this is summer speculation, just running AMOK.
I think he starts with the sounds I hear and he will start the season in Anaheim. ”
Starr: “Yes.”
D’Amico: “Roger McQueen’s drafting, that’s all that. In my opinion, he’s at least two years away from the NHL due to injury last year. It’s been around the NHL to smell the NHL. Go to the NCAA next season, go to the NCAA next season, go to the NCAA next season. Go to the next season. It’s next season. A lot of time.
Starr: “To be precise.”
D’Amico: “I’m not sure if Michael Granlund will play for the Anaheim Ducks.
There are many situations, many accidental situations that create the assumption that he is pushed away. Yes, he might end up being traded, but I think if he does get traded, it would be for the exact demand, and in fact, the only thing Anaheim Ducks needs right now – right shot D. ”
NHL Rumors: Pittsburgh Penguins, and Mason McTavish’s Possible Landing Movement
Starr: “What the hell is it, because I think, for the sake of confrontation, right? I think Nails and Hudson and Dobson are the counters.
