Fabrizio Romano confirms another deal, Chelsea will receive £250 million surprise

Chelsea raised one cash through a transfer alone, and Fabrizio Romano has now confirmed that they just agreed to another deal.

After last month’s settlement with UEFA and fines for violation of FFP rules, Chelsea must balance their upcoming signings against key players to avoid further punishment.

Otherwise, Enzo Maresca will not be able to register for a new signing in next season’s A-list Champions League team, and Chelsea will have almost one week before the deadline and Chelsea will need to continue some high-profile departures.

So far, Chelsea has raised about £220 million by selling Kepa Arrizabalaga, Basir Humphreys, Noni Madueke, Marcus Bettinelli, Mathis Amougou, Djordje Petrovic, João Félix, Ishe Samuels-Smith, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall-Hall-Hall, Armando Broja and Egaum broja.

More people are expected to follow them out the door, including Christopher Nkunku, Nicolas Jackson, Axel Chukwuemeka, Ben Chilwell, Raheem Sterling, Alfie Gilchrist, and even Tyrique George.

Nkunku has been joining Bayern with Bayern Munich, but has not found any agreement yet, so Premier League rivals such as Newcastle United and even Bundesliga companion heavyweight RB Leipzig can still win the game for him.

Meanwhile, forward Nicolas Jackson is targeted by Newcastle and Aston Villa, and Chelsea is now considering the possibility of loan and purchase transaction obligations.

“Understand clubs interested in Nicolas Jackson may be obliged to make loans under the right conditions,” journalist Ben Jacobs said through X.

“A £10 million loan fee. Aston Villa is exploring the deal, Newcastle or Newcastle or Milan moves will not be discounted. If Chelsea’s £80 million valuation drops by £70 million, Jackson is expected to have several options.”

While the future of Jackson and Nkunku is still pending, Chelsea is now fully agreeing to their latest exports.

Chelsea agrees to sell Renato Veiga to Villarreal

Fabrizio Romano, who broke the news on Wednesday, said defender Renato Veiga is on his way to Villarreal, a move worth about £26m.

According to some sources, the agreement includes up to 40% of the sell clause, with La Liga also breaking their transfer record to sign Portugal’s centre-back.

PA News also said the Blues offered a £26 million offer for Veiga’s service.

Interestingly, BBC reporter Nizaar Kinsella estimates that Chelsea has now raised a total of about £250 million in transfer revenue as the deal is completed. This means that Chelsea’s net amount is also more than £25 million, investing nearly £280 million in new signings.

Veega’s exit could potentially make room for emergency centre-back options given Levi Colwill’s long-term injury, and Maresca personally is very keen to do so, as he made it clear in a recent press conference.
