Cobra Golf launches the latest generation of Baffler Irons Originally invented by Tom Crow, founder of Cobra.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Baffer’s sweeping golf industry in 1975, it is Cobra’s most innovative portfolio to date. Touted as the perfect “all-in-one” combo kit, the brand new baffler is the first baffler with five unique constructs, each designed to bring the best results from the most challenging lies.
The Baffler set is designed to provide the best performance for middle school and master seniors, females and beginner golfers in search of easy forgiveness, consistency and ease of launch. Each construction draws inspiration from existing designs in the Cobra lineup, including the previous generation T-Rail, DS-Adapt, and Air-X, and blends them together to create a design that works harmoniously in the collection.
Combination kits from traditional hybrid, hybrid iron, hollow iron and cavity rear iron to cavity wedge. This configuration optimizes the gap through the set and improves versatility and accuracy in short iron and wedges for scoring.
Since its debut in 1975, Baffler has played a key role in Cobra Golf’s innovative legacy. The iconic Baffler Rail Design, invented by Thomas Crow, changed the game, improved turf interaction from any lie and quickly became a staple for Cobra’s fairway Woods and hybrids.
The new Baffler combo kit features progressive rail systems – steeper tracks in hybrids and long iron, which transition to shallow tracks in short iron, wedge-shaped tracks without tracks – to optimize turf interaction and contact for each club. The Baffler suit features a sophisticated and compelling new design and is a choice for both men and women. Both men’s and women’s suits have the following configurations:
