Steph Curry noted that the Warriors’ need is to “help us reach the next level”

Every summer, Warrior PG Steph Curry has a basketball summer camp. This is a three-day night training camp for grades 4 to 10. This summer camp will take place this week.

Steph Curry spent some time talking to the media and shared his thoughts on Golden State’s lack of action. They are teams with zero increase in lineups in the 2025 offseason. Curry is confident in the players the Warriors already have. However, he did express that “something needed to help us reach the next level.” It was a clear message from Curry to the front desk, and he wanted to see the team take action.

Steph Curry cleverly urges the fighters to add players to their roster

The average age by the 2025-26 season is 28.2 years old, and the Warriors have the second largest lineup in the NBA. The core of their team is Steph Curry, Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green. Curry is 37 years old. Butler and Green are both 35 years old. During the offseason, the Warriors were the only team that did not join for their own roster.

Curry spent some time talking to reporters during his summer basketball camp for the kids. He said they have a “very good team” for 2025-26, but said the team needed “something to help us reach the next level”. During the offseason, the Warriors lost veteran Kevon Looney in free agents. Additionally, the front desk remains in a standoff with Jonathan Kuminga and his agents.

This difference delays any other deal the Warriors plan to reach. Golden State needs to add youth to the lineup. Players who can be with the team in the next few years. Their most attractive young talents are Mosses Moody, Brandin Podziemski and Quentin Post. Apart from them, the lack of warriors makes the team a contender in the West.

There is still time to move to free agents at the front desk. However, at this point in the offseason, the market is slim. Free agency has been open for more than a month. Golden State may want to trade this offseason to acquire new players. The team reportedly became interested in Bulls’ Josh Giddey. We’ll see if the Warriors add players to the roster and Grant Steph Curry’s wish.
