Steve Kerr compares Stephen Curry with Michael Jordan

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has coached and played with some of the greatest names in basketball. Recently, he made a stunning comparison of Stephen Curry and Michael Jordan, who are widely regarded as one of the best matches of all time.
A unique mentality on the court
Talk about glue Podcast, Kerr reflects the psychological approach to the contrast of two stars. He praised Curry for his joy in the game, which contrasted with Jordan’s fierce competitive advantage.
“It’s the most amazing mentality I’ve ever seen,” Kerr said. “Michael has a similar mindset, but Michael’s mindset seems more like killing an opponent, just inserting a knife and twisting it. Stephen is more about the joy of shooting the ball. You know, that’s what makes watching Stephen so beautiful.”
Kerr’s point of view comes from first-hand experience. He played with Jordan with the Chicago Bulls and won four NBA titles. Now, as Curry’s coach, he’s witnessed another dominance.
Confidence and style difference
Kerr noted that although both players have extraordinary self-confidence, their methods of imposing their will are different. He described Jordan as “more calculations” and curry, and was a player who thrived with rhythm and emotion.
“They have similar confidence,” Kerr explained. “I think Michael has a lot more calculations. I don’t think Stephen’s calculations are that calculations, I just think he has the ability to get into the rhythm, flow in, psychologically, emotionally, emotionally, whatever you want to say is so unique. It’s more unique as Michael. It’s more like a declared dominance. It’s here.
Legacy in the movement
Both players have achieved historic success in their styles. Jordan’s career includes six NBA titles in 2009, five MVP awards and Hall of Fame induction. Curry has won two MVPs and four-time champions, continuing to add to his resume.
Despite Jordan’s career being complete, Curry is still shaping his legacy. If his current trajectory continues, his status in the Hall of Fame seems inevitable. Until then, fans and analysts will continue to debate his great men in history, like Kerr.
