Spurs bid for £43 million, “next week”

Although they certainly didn’t help themselves, the biggest problem with Tottenham Hotspur last season was injury.
Angel Postecoglou had to do it with a cobblestone squad for most of the campaign, and when he did get his players back they won the Europa League.
It can be said that Lily White’s biggest mistake was Cristian Romero, who missed 27 games before playing a key role in the club’s first trophy victory in 17 years.
The World Cup champion will undoubtedly be one of Thomas Frank’s most important players this season, so fans should be happy with the international club that compares the club to the international clubs that he is compared with and with Gabriel Magalhães.
Spurs target Romero and Gabriel hybrid
So far, it’s been an interesting summer for the Spurs as they pursue Morgan Gibbs-White doesn’t have any fruit, but they’ve purchased it in several other potential game changers.
For example, although he is not cheap, Mohammed Kudus can help turn the lily whites into the more dangerous side, and Joao Palhinha has the ability to make them collapse more difficult.
Additionally, the North Londoners seem keen to add at least one player to their squad before the window grand slams are closed, a player compared to Romero and Gabriel.
At least this is based on the latest report by Sebastien Vidal, who claims the Spurs are very interested in Ronald Araujo, who is worth £43 million.
In fact, journalists went further, revealing “expectations” Lilywhites immediately took the first official approach for Barcelona stars in “next week”.
Completing can be a complex and relatively expensive transfer, but Araujo proves that he is worth it, especially compared to Romero and Gabriel.
Araujo vs. Romero & Gabriel
Now you can point to several quite a few surface-level similarities between Araujo, Gabriel and Romero, like they are all defenders in South America who play for their own country, which is the fact that they play top teams in one of the top five leagues in Europe, or none of them are the kind of guards who are easy to beat the ball.
But, thanks to FBREF, we know there are some undeniable statistical similarities between them, as they look at all the centre-backs in the first five leagues, and over the past 365 days, the Arsenal Stars have the most similarity to the Barcelona Ace, while the Spurs Titans are the ninth most similar.
You can better understand how these comparisons are made by examining Uruguay’s rankings with two Premier League monsters.

Interestingly, when it comes to the Gunners’ ace, the Rivera-born star doesn’t actually rank all of this in the defensive metrics, but shares the offensive quality of the Brazilian, from non-race-expected goals to key pass and goal-creating actions, all in the 90s.
But when it comes to Lilywhites Ace, metrics include offensive and defensive statistics such as interceptions, percentage of air confrontation won, a middle third tackle, key passes, and more.

That being said, although it is certainly encouraging to compare with two of the best defenders in the world’s toughest league, there are other arguments why the North Londoner should have a deal for the former Boston River Star, such as his experience.
For example, despite what the athlete Raj Chohan calls a “track and field monster”, he has reached his peak year, and although it hasn’t reached its peak yet, it’s one year since he reached its peak.
On top of that, he also helped the Spanish Giants win two La Liga titles, two Copa del Reys and two Super Cups, which makes it easy to understand why legendary centre-back Carles Puyol once described him as “one of the best defenders in the world.”
Ultimately, even if it could be a complicated transfer to overcome this line, the Spurs should do everything they can to ensure Araujo’s service, especially since he’s a hybrid between Romero and Gabriel.
