Red Devils are held after Old Trafford unveils Sesco

Manchester United finished the preseason ahead of the new Premier League campaign, drawing 1-1 with Fiorentina.
Before the kickoff, United supporters accepted the unveiling of Benjamin Sesko, who joined Matheus Cunha and Mbeumo on Saturday morning. Old Trafford was also warmly welcomed by former joint goalkeeper David De Gea, now a book by Fiorentina.
The Red Devils hoped to make a statement in front of a packed Old Trafford, but found themselves matching the Serie A in the first half of the entertaining Fiorentina game.
Fiorentina hit the first shot within 10 minutes of the opening game. The corner of the poor defense saw Simon Sohm completely unmarked as he placed La Viola in front with a crisp volley.
Due to some of his own scenes being confused, the master hit the ball midway through the half. Bruno Fernandes waving in a dangerous corner, and in the subsequent battle, Robin Gosens shifted the ball to his own net to raise the score to 1-1.
United enjoyed more offensive pressure in the first half, while Academy talent Ayden Heaven approached with a header and new signing Bryan Mbeumo, which bothered visitors from the vast area.
Fiorentina was the highest in the second half, with Simon Sohm rattleing under pressure and Manchester United’s defense.
United responded through long-term efforts by Matheus Cunha and Bruno Fernandes, but rarely had the chance.
