The duo share lead at PIF London Championship – Golf News

Laura Fuenfstueck and Alexandra Swayne of the Virgin Islands in the U.S. performed well on Friday at the Centurion Club’s glorious scoring conditions as they set the first round on the third PIF London Championship this season’s PIF Global series.

They both scored the Hawks on the first hole and the five birdies, shooting from Switzerland’s Chiara Tamburlini and Spain’s Carlota Ciganda, who looked to be planning to join the leader until the Saudi golf ambassador recorded a three-shot bogey at the age of 16.Th.

British players

A group of five players shot further in a golf Saudi-backed match, including three British players Mimi Rhodes, Cara Gainer and Charlotte Laffar.

Fuenfstueck’s top 67 helped the Nadaud team, led by French captain Nastasia Nadaud, earned a day’s honor, with a total of -18 shots, two shots from the quartet led by Casandra Alexander of South Africa.

Alexandra Swayne, who has no golf course due to hurricane damage and is often forced to practice in a field near her home, said she has been lucky for some of her good rounds.

“I just saw the camera and hit them, and I was actually lucky. No matter who you are, you always have to be lucky to have a good round, which golfer, the golf course you play.”

Germany’s Fuenfstueck recorded 18 top ten in the European Women’s Tour, but the first victory remains elusive, she said she and her team mixed a lot of practice at the AIG Women’s Open last week.

“I think I have a moment today and I might call myself a little lucky. Think there were a lot of things going well last week. We were here for three days and it really helped. Long term, it’s important because we figured out the key to my game.”

Other competitors

Ciganda is a great performer for the Saudi golf ambassador, with Germany’s Olivia Cowan and France’s Celine Boutier still in strong controversy after two lows on 71, with Dutch’s Anne Van Dam taking a further shot below 1.

As the sun shines, a large number of people attend the conference, and many are attending live events, including the GO Golf clinic, which focus on encouraging new immigrants to participate in the competition.

Saudi Golf’s strategic leadership puts the support and empowerment of female golfers at the heart, provides excellent match opportunities for the best matches in the world and introduces the sport to new players and beginners around the world through a range of activities and sports.

Its focus is on strengthening Saudi Arabia’s golf ecosystem, promoting mass participation in the sport, and promoting the Kingdom as a rising centre for golf, tourism and investment.
