Fangraphs member Saberseminar Ticket giveaway!

Are you a member of Fangraphs? Will you be in the Chicago area from August 23 to 24? Do you want to participate in Sabermetrics, Scouting and Baseball Science, also known as Saberseminar? Good news! Fangraphs is making Saberseminar ticket giveaways for our members.
Hosted by the Illinois Institute of Technology on its Chicago campus, SaberSeminar is a charity conference that brings together baseball fans, Sabermetricians, data scientists and front desk staff to showcase two-day baseball analysis developments. Researchers, students and industry insiders have spent the weekend introducing their latest work. Last year’s meeting was spoken by REDS Senior Director of Analytics Nick Wan and Chicago White Sox senior consultants, and many other consultants including pitching Brian Bannister, and this year’s lineup is just as impressive. It’s also a place to build communities across the industry, whether it’s with fans, journalists covering games, scientists or front desk staff. Several Fanggraphs writers, including me, will be present! All proceeds from the meeting will involve charity such as alliances to cure sponge deformities.
Fangraphs has become a supporter of Saberseminar for more than 10 years. This year, we will be offering six conference tickets to members. To enter, simply fill out this Google form and use your name and the email address associated with your membership. This is important because this is how we will verify your membership status. You can only have one entry per email address. We will do a random drawing on Thursday, August 14 to determine who gets the ticket.
