Victoria Mboko

Junior Victoria Mboko will face Naomi Osaka in the Canadian Open final.
The 18-year-old Canadian, ranked 85th in the world, lost the first set and saved the match point in the second inning before continuing to win in Montreal 1-6 7-5 7-6 (7-4).
Mboko is a wildcard contestant for the competition and will face former world number one Osaka in her first WTA 1000 final.
“I made everyone support me and pushed me,” Mboko said.
“Without you guys, I don’t think I’ll be able to pass.”
The Canadian will be in the top 50 in the update next week, and she has beaten Coco Gauff and Sofia Kenin in the outstanding finals.
She began the year ranked 33333 in the world but opened with an astonishing 22-game winning streak.
Osaka has a famous victory after the Japanese beat Denmark No. 16 seed Clara Tauson 6-2 7-6 (9-7).
