Jack Winkler – MLB Trade Rumors

Marlin Indori Jack Winkler According to MLB.com transaction tracker, the exemption was unclaimed and was eliminated by Triple-A Jacksonville. The 26-year-old has neither service time nor a career to directly refuse tasks. On Monday, when the fish claim to be outfielder, he will remain on the team after being designated as a mission Joey Wiemer Waiver.

Winkler made his debut earlier this season. He took the acquisition from A’s A’s in the minor league stage of the Rule 5 draft last year, and he took away a 40-man squad at the end of May. He spent about six weeks in the major leagues, twice. Winkler didn’t get a lot of playing time as the end player on the bench of Clayton McCullough. He started just 4 of his 11 appearances and collected two hits and a stolen base in 12 bats.

Winkler is a product from the University of San Francisco that played parts of five minor league seasons. His first year with Triple-A, hitting .241/.304/.379 made a appearance in 194 sets. Winkler never played much, but offered versatility as a deep infielder. He will stay in Jacksonville, hoping to return to the major league squad.
