EFL Cup Date 2025/26: When is the date of the Calaba Cup round?
The first round begins in the second week of the EFL season. A new initial round has also begun between two clubs that were promoted from the National League last season and two clubs between the second and second-place teams.
There will be a splitting weeks in the third round of the Champions League and Europa League clubs.

EFL Cup: When will the Premier League team join the Carabao Cup?
Nine Premier League teams participating in European competitions will compete in the third round of the EFL Cup in September.
Eleven other clubs will join the round earlier on August 25.
