Manchester United still hasn’t submitted Benjamin Sesco’s bid

Benjamin Sesko’s future remains one of the most watched stories in the summer transfer window, but as of Monday, Manchester United still hasn’t submitted a formal written offer to RB Leipzig.

The update was conducted through well-known journalist Florian Plettenberg, who reported that Manchester United’s interest, while specific, has not translated into an official bid.

Cesco has been a consistent figure in European football over the past year and is widely regarded as one of the most promising young strikers in the game.

Manchester United and Newcastle are still playing in Cesco

With top clubs hovering, his next move is expected to have a significant impact not only on Leipzig, but also on clubs like Manchester United and Newcastle United, which are eager to strengthen their offensive roster.

Newcastle has taken action, with a total of €80 million worth of bids, including €75 million, plus an additional composition of €5 million. However, RB Leipzig is unwavering.

According to Plettenberg, the Bundesliga side is providing a structure for deals for parcels of more than 80 million euros, including guaranteed fees and surcharges, which play a crucial role in the assessment.

Sesko still hasn’t made a final decision on his future

Despite United’s close ties with Sesko for several weeks, they have not formalized their intentions.

Internally, the club is still very interested, but it appears they are waiting for the players’ green light and then step up negotiations with Leipzig. For now, the ball is very important on the Cesco Stadium.

The Slovenian international hasn’t made a final decision on his next destination, and both clubs are still in trouble until he does so. Leipzig is not in a hurry to sell and is ready to retain Sesko unless its valuation is met.
