Sweden beat Canada 8-4 in World Youth Summer Showcase – Hockey Writer – World Youth Hockey Championship

On Friday, August 1, the world’s junior summer showroom extends to the final two days of the competition. The first game was between Canada and Sweden, Finland and the United States followed. Evan Gardner got the network on the Canadian network, but in the third phase they turned to Joshua Ravensbergen and Love Harenstam was Swedish tennis.

From the beginning it was another tough battle, but Sweden began its early jump and Canada had to fight back. Sweden added four more goals in the second stage and climbed up Canada with a mountain road. Sweden continued to increase the score with a strong goal goal, giving it a five-goal lead in third place. The first stage begins with many round-trip actions, as most games in this showcase have. However, Sweden first found the back of the Nets, and Eric Nilson’s goal scored it 1-0. The assists went to Alexander Zetterberg and Viggo Nordlund. Sweden added another goal one minute later to increase momentum with a 2-0 run.

The goal is Lucas Pettersson’s score. Felix Öhrqvist and Jack Berglund assisted him. Canada has more than three minutes left in the first game. The goal was Cole Reschny scored 2-1. Ben Kindel and Sacha Boisvert assisted him in ending the period.

He was assisted by Terik Parascak. It didn’t last as Sweden added another one before the buzzer to make it 6-2. The goal was scored by Nilson, who scored in his second game, assisted to Genborg and Sahlin-Wallenius to end the period.

Sweden scored again to open the third stage, with Melvin Fernström recording the goal, 7-2. Valter Lindberg and Danielsson assisted him. Less than a minute later, Canada responded with a goal from Cayden Lindstrom. Malcolm Spence registered the only assist and made it a 7-3 match. However, Sweden’s Wilson Björck answered helplessly in the last six minutes of the game, extending Sweden’s lead to 8-3. Canada added Michael Hage’s final goal. Boisvert assisted him in finishing the game 8-4.

Both teams will return to action on the last day of the showcase box, tomorrow, Saturday, August 2. Two Nordic countries in Sweden and Finland will be the first match, while the United States and Canada will then end the week.
