Millions of dollars of popular souvenirs stole from Casia Center

Federal authorities are investigating what is described as the “biggest souvenir robbery” in sports history after the team’s Kaseya Center facility stolen millions of dollars in Miami Heat souvenirs, including those of the Miami Heat, which include the in-game NBA Finals jersey.
Miami Heat Gears by LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, Shaquille O’Neal
The multi-million-dollar, worn-out hot gear was reportedly stolen from a storage room inside the Kaseya Center and sold. A source close to the team said the game’s gear belongs to high-profile players such as LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Shaquille O’Neal.
NBA Insider and Meadowlark Media’s Amin Elhassan first reported on the investigation Dan Le Batard show with Stugotz This week.
“Another investigation is currently underway about the sale of non-candid souvenirs,” Elhassan said on the show. “This is a souvenir for souvenirs – a souvenir – stolen from the Miami Heat and sold many, many millions of dollars. Perhaps one of the biggest robberies of this kind.
“You will never see so many things in the souvenir community.
The suspects include retired Miami police officers, individuals from California
According to Anthony Chiang Miami Pioneera suspect identified through an ongoing investigation is a retired Miami Police officer who continues to work in the NBA’s security department.
“The other person interested is an individual from California who may have purchased some stolen souvenirs and auctioned them out,” Chiang wrote.
Chiang also added that The Game Warn Gear was stored by Heat as a “historical souvenir that could have been used to create a popular Hall of Fame.”
Travis Nichols, who runs the collectors club in Wynwood, told the 7News that the NBA Finals jersey, which has only one game, can be sold for hundreds of thousands of dollars.
“Obviously, it’s really crazy. It’s a huge break, but at this point, I was shocked, it took so long to happen so much.”
“Souplets have been moved into the asset class by many financial institutions. Now it’s time for people to realize that this thing has money.”
Heat won his first NBA title in 2006 under Dwyane Wade and was back-to-back tournament with LeBron James in the 2012 and 2013 “Big Three” era.
