Chelsea are interested in signing Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United during the summer transfer window.

They have now taken the first step to explore potential transfers this summer, with Manchester United spending around £40 million. Garnacho is also on Tottenham Hotspur’s radar.

Garnacho needs to leave the United

According to a report by TalkSport through Fichajes, Chelsea hopes to improve its offensive division by signing Argentine attackers. He has the ability to operate anywhere on the front line and he will be the ideal long-term acquisition for Chelsea.

The player struggled with regular games at Old Trafford last season and he was not part of their future plans. It makes sense for him to leave Manchester United permanently this summer. He needs to participate in his development regularly. Chelsea may be able to provide him with this opportunity.

They approved Noni Madueke’s departure and Raheem Sterling would leave. Mykhailo Mudryk is facing a long ban. Chelsea needs a deeper side, and Garnacho will be a reliable option. He showed his qualities in his Premier League against Manchester United and undoubtedly he could be a star at Chelsea under the right guidance.

He is still only 21 years old and he can improve through coaching and experience. For Chelsea, he will be a reliable investment. The £40 deal looks like a cheap one in the long run.

Chelsea has an ambitious project and a high-quality team. They did a great job of winning the Conference League last season and the FIFA Club World Cup earlier this summer. Garnacho will be lured into being part of their project. He will hope to win the main trophy in the upcoming season.
