Wirtz Nets first Reds scored as Ekitike debuted in Japan

Liverpool’s new boys beat Arne Slot’s side 3-1 to beat Yokohama F Marinos 3-1 in the second game of today’s Asian preseason tour.
The match continues despite Japan’s tsunami warnings, and the Reds will be happy that the match is still happy after Florian Wirtz’s second half goals and youngsters Trey Nyoni and Rio Ngumoha’s second half goals, which gave Liverpool a victory from behind.
Asahi Uenaka puts the host ahead, but Wirtz provided a cross for Nyoni’s strike when former Bayer Leverkusen teammate Jeremie Frimpong took off the bench. Ngumoha joins the third late stage with a lovely personal goal.
Hugo Ekitike transferred £69m from Eintracht Frankfurt and showed a shimmer of quality, making his debut at Liverpool – with a clever backflow effort to approach the goal before halftime.
gakpo looks bright, Liverpool
It was a welcome win for the Slot side, who looked rusty in a 4-2 win over Hong Kong’s AC Milan on Saturday.
Diogo Jota, who died in a car accident in Spain earlier this month, was paid tribute before the kickoff, when the action was indeed carried out, with Liverpool dominating a team that ranked 18th among 20 teams J. League.
Ekitike is queued in an attack XI, which also contains Wirtz, Mohamed Salah, and Cody Gakpo.
It was Gakpo who hit Liverpool’s first chance with his curling efforts.
Dutch International defeated again, and Dominik Szoboszlai beat a shot after bypassing the goalkeeper.
Ekitike almost shocked
A minute later, Ekitike almost broke the deadlock, cleverly shifting Conor Bradley’s lows to the target, but saw his efforts get good savings from family goalkeeper Park Il-Gyu.
On the other end, Reds goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili also looks very guaranteed.
The Georgian clinked over Milan and he continued to stand for Alisson in his home country of Brazil when he produced an excellent one-handed dock to keep Jun Amano’s header.
Ekitike and Ryan Gravenberch were cancelled at the break, Darwin Nunez and Curtis Jones played, but the change failed to make an immediate impact, and Yokohama took the lead after 55 minutes.
The shocked target of the Japanese owner
A clever ball inside Ibrahima Konate picked Uenaka, who made no mistakes and had both lower left foot.
Wataru Endo attended the hero’s reception for Virgil Van Dijk, and a large amount of Liverpool support was also available at Nissan Stadium when Wirtz caught the equaliser with his first goal club goal.
Liverpool reverses the game, Wirtz has no errors
A thorough counterattack attack led by Jones and Salah caused the ball to fall in the box for the German international player, who swept it to the left corner.
After 64 minutes, the slot machine made 7 changes and the two players introduced the third goal of the game, which was a bad game.
Frimpong whipped from the trademark cross on the left, and Nyoni stretched out his right leg and moved the ball home.
Liverpool swarmed forward, and now it’s one-way traffic, and it’s no surprise when they score again. Andy Robertson picked 16-year-old Ngumoha, who ran out from near the midway line and cut into two defenders and shot down the bottom corner.
