Nike plays hit songs with the return of the iconic USMNT kit

Nike continues its 90 revival journey by bringing back one of the most popular shirts in American football – the 2004 U.S. jersey.
Swoosh, who just started reissuing cult classics for Brazil, Portugal and the Netherlands, has now turned to stars and stripes, reintroducing a shirt that helped identify a critical era in American football history.
The kit was originally worn during a period of change in the U.S. men’s national team, evoking memories of a generation led by Landon Donovan, Damarcus Beasley and Claudio Reyna, who began to make their mark on the global stage.
Now, twenty years later, Nike celebrates the legacy by surrounding Donovan himself, his name adorning the back of the modern reissue.
In terms of design, it is undoubtedly the T90. The clean white base is complemented by bold navy shoulder panels and vivid red details.
That concentrated crest – a sign of 90 ERAs in total – tied them together to create a shirt that blends minimalism with muscle. It is not just a look, it also symbolizes the swagger of American football and has become a streetwear favorite in itself.
Twenty years later, the jersey is still hit with the same visual impact and is now back as a football legacy.
