Wanderers are interested in signing Crystal Palace attacker Jesurun Rak-Sakyi this summer.
But Rangers manager Russell Martin is not sure if they will be able to pass the deal. The 22-year-old recently had a loan spell at Charlton Athletic and Sheffield United.
There is no doubt that if they manage to close the deal, he might bring an interesting acquisition to the Rangers. Scottish clothing requires depth in the offensive department, and Rak-Sakyi will be a reliable long-term acquisition.
The 22-year-old needs to play regularly at this stage of his career, and Crystal Palace will not be able to provide him with this opportunity. Leaving the London club might be his ideal choice. He needs to focus on playing regularly and continue to develop for the time being. The Wanderer can provide him with the platform he needs now. Whether they can complete the deal remains to be seen.
Russell Martin has been a long-time admirer of the 22-year-old attacker and he also wants to bring the player to Southampton. Interestingly, whether Martin can successfully sign the player this time.
Russell Martin
“He’s the player I like in Southampton. We tried to bring him there, but that didn’t exactly happen,” Martin said on the BBC.
“So, he’s the player I like, and I think he’s the player who recruits. But, how far that has gone, I’m not sure.
“He’s a really good player. We look at all kinds of profiles that we think can help the team. It’s not necessarily a type of profile.”
Jesurun Rak-Sakyi requires game time

Crystal Palace should keep him moving forward in search of regular game time. It remains to be seen whether the two clubs can reach a consensus on the loan agreement. It can benefit all parties.
The 22-year-old will be able to continue to develop his own development through regular football and he may return to Crystal Palace next year. If he fails to make layoffs at the London club, they can sell him for reasonable money.
It is unlikely that sitting on the bench of Premier League clubs will benefit anyone in the upcoming season.
