Wrexham fails with ambitious former Manchester United midfielder

Wrexham was denied after ambitiously signing former Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen.
Denmark International left Old Trafford last month after his contract expired and was immediately targeted by the North Wales Club, which is preparing for the championship after three straight promotions.
But Eriksen’s agent Martin Schools said the 33-year-old wanted to play at a higher level.
Schools told Mail Sport: “Wrexham is really upgrading everything on and off the field, and it’s a very impressive project that you can see from people you like [CEO] Michael Williamson was there.
“But Christian still wants to play in the front line, he definitely wants to stay in Western Europe. There are some contacts in progress, but they have to be suitable for both sides.”
Wrexham thinks before the championship campaign
Wrexham’s rise through the Football League pyramid is directed and directed by Hollywood actors Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds, who have been active in the transfer market this summer.
Goalkeeper Danny Ward, forward Ryan Hardie and defender Defender Liberato Cacace all moved to Stoke Cae Ras. But Erikson’s move will be the most compelling.
Before playing for Manchester United, Eriksen starred in Tottenham, Inter and Brentford, before being one of Ajax’s best young players.
His career has stalled, and he played for his country in June 2021 at the 2020 European Cup, but after he returned with Brentford, he moved to Old Trafford 13 months later.
Eriksen has made 73 Premier League appearances for United, but has fought for game time under Ruben Amorim.
He also won 144 blocks for Denmark and scored 46 goals.
