LAFC explores Captain Tottenham’s son’s actions

According to reports, LAFC expressed interest in signing the son of Tottenham striker Yang Yang.

The son, who turns 34 next anniversary, is only over a year left after the Spurs chose to activate a one-year extension clause in January instead of negotiating a new deal.

The decision delays any negotiations in the long-term future, with the summer transfer window going on, space for guessing.

It is reported that if the son says he is ready to leave, the LAFC is ready to take action.

While Tottenham did not actively push him away, the club reportedly would be willing to allow him to leave if there was the right opportunity.

The son previously rejected a large-scale approach by Al Ittihad on the Saudi side in 2023.

Despite rejecting the move, interest from Saudi Arabia has not disappeared. Now, with the seat in the Major League Soccer, the son is facing a tough decision.

Asian Tour delay

The widespread welcome of sons in Asia complicates the timing of any possible transfer of discussion.

The Spurs will conduct pre-season tours, including matches in Hong Kong and Seoul, where their son is a national idol.

The tour ends on August 3, after which the team returns to Europe to prepare for the new Premier League campaign.

New Spurs manager Thomas Frank admits his son’s long-term contribution to the club, including becoming the seventh player, has won 450 games since joining Bayer Leverkusen in 2015 and has contributed 198 goals and assists in the Premier League.

However, Frank has not confirmed whether his son will become the club captain this season.

When asked recently about the striker’s future and whether he won the right to decide on himself, Frank said: “It’s always tricky, and this is the case…if that happens.

“Now, I have a player who is fully engaged in training and training and will play tomorrow.

“If a player goes to a club for a long time, the club will always make a decision.

“Because if someone wants to leave at some stage, there is something…then there might be something. But the club always decides.

“First of all, he’s here now. I’m not worried about that. Let’s spend five to six weeks. [be a question] I got the next week, so I will practice the answers. Now, he is here. ”

The son finally won the first trophy with Tottenham Hotspur earlier this year when they won the Europa League final against Manchester United and ended an extraordinary milestone season.

But whether he leaves another chapter in North London or moves to the United States or Saudi Arabia – it remains to be seen.
