Golf Business News – Happy Gilmore 2 Hits Small Screen

Comedian Adam Sandler plays a famous role, trying to make a comeback as the former hockey player turns into a professional golfer to help his daughter become a ballerina dream.

The new film is an outing for the Sandler family, where Sandler’s real daughter Sunny plays the happy daughter Vienna Gilmore, while her mothers Jackie Sandler and Sadie Sandler appear in the film.

There is also a strong list of supporting cast performances, including Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, Justin Thomas, Tony Finau, Collin Morikawa and Will Zalatoris. Golf legends John Daley, Lee Trevino and Jim Flick also appeared.

Scheffler, who won the open title on Sunday in Royal Portrait, added the cast to a star-studded film premiere in New York on Monday, has since appeared on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show.

“Everyone knows what Gilmore’s Happy Swing is,” Scheffler told reporters on the red carpet at the premiere. “Everyone tried to make it when they were young. It’s definitely part of golf culture.”

“I don’t know what’s going on,” Adam Sandler told us about the TV show “Good Morning America,” and all of these stars can be seen in the movie. “We wrote ’em stuff. Everyone came kindly. Everyone did a great job. Every day, there were cool people coming up and we would hang out.”
