Messi misses MLS All-Star Game but avoids pauses

Lionel Messi was excluded from the All-Star game against Liga MX Select XI in tonight’s MLS All-Star game, but will escape the suspension.
Messi and his Miami teammate Jordi Alba were voted for the roster, with eighth-time Ballon D’Or D’Or making their debut in the game.
But now, he won’t play pulls and is usually defeated by a MLB game.
However, many reports suggest that Messi and Alba will have to approve the busy schedule in recent weeks as Miami competes in the club World Cup.
The Argentine superstar played every minute in 22 of the last 23 games of the Florida team, despite being 38 years old.
Despite the workload, he maintained his usual lofty standards, scoring at least two goals in six of Miami’s last seven MLS games, including five straight games.
This is the second year he must quit. In 2024, he suffered an ankle injury in the Copa America final, which left him for weeks.
Alba did play last year, but six of the last seven games in Miami will play in this game.
Messi and Alba are likely to play when Miami hosts Cincinnati Football Club on Saturday.
