Manchester City hopes Ederson stays in Galatasaray interest

Despite the verbal agreement on potential exits, Manchester City is eager to maintain a long-term player this summer.

Ederson is now the second-place player on the team that joined Pep Guardiola eight years ago, although he is currently preparing to leave within the next 12 months as his contract expires next June.

Galatasaray hopes to snap up the 31-year-old for a knockout price of €300,000 (£2.6m) and makes an offer to the valuation (L’Equipe), while the city continues to be linked to the potential reunion of James Traftord in Burnley.

The people who are eager to stay in Ederson’s city

On Wednesday afternoon, Sky Sports News reporters Dharmesh Sheth and Lyall Thomas claimed that City wanted the Brazilian goalkeeper to stay at the Etihad Stadium, despite reports that the Turkish club reportedly had personal conditions with his agent.

Premier League teams have not gained any approach from Istanbul costumes and do not want Ederson to leave, the 31-year-old recently insisted that “my future is here” and dismissed the report of the summer exit as “99% fake news.”

Ederson can still make more contributions at Manchester City

City’s No. 1 isn’t exactly on the verge of retirement, and he’s still their top pick between sticks for most of last season, so it’s understandable that they don’t want to lose him even with less than a year left on his contract.

The Brazilian has become synonymous with the most glorious period in club history, with all six Premier League titles he won at Guardiola and part of the treble awards won by 2022/23.

Like the entire team, maybe he hasn’t performed well in the last 12 months, but he still has time to get further silverware in Manchester.

Ironically, Burnley is interested in Stefan Ortega’s connection to Stefan Ortega because of Stefan Ortega’s connection to buyback Trafford, and while the British youngster can be the backbone of the team in about a decade, Guardiola will certainly lose his first and second-choice goalkeeper the same summer.

Whether Ederson will stay in Etihad by the end of August, but it seems obvious that his employer won’t let him go without doing everything he has to leave to convince him not to leave Galatasaray.
