Golf Business News – England Golf Reports WHS Rounds Increased 30%

2025 continues to be another record year for England golf, with four smashing round records recorded through the World Barrier System in the first six months, while in the same period in 2024, the first half of the year scored nearly 30%.

England Golf has confirmed that over 5.75 million scores were entered through the World Barrier System in the first six months of 2025.

Rounds in January increased significantly in February (28%), March (85%), April (98%) and May (18%), with January falling by 11%. June saw a slight decline (-3%), but the state governing body performed well over a record year in 2024, where it entered more than 10.2 million results.
