Everton can hijack the clumsy £42m striker who will be Lukaku 2.0

Everton’s center problem goes back several years. Indeed, while Dominic Calvert-Lewin looked like the new Messiah, his last years at the club were poor.

Since Romelu Lukaku left in the summer of 2017, Toffees has enjoyed the service of a striker who knows how to find the back of the network regularly.

David Moyes has overflowed £27m to sign Thierno Barry in hopes that the Frenchman will eventually solve the answer to the club centre’s plight.

But the Scots won’t stop there because he looks eager to add another offensive player this summer. Can he approach the deal that hijacks the nearest target?

Everton looks for another striker

Hamza Igamane is on the club’s finalist as Moyes hopes to hijack Lille’s deal to sign him from the Glasgow Rangers.

This may not be the only deal for Everton. Recently, the club has expressed interest in Stuttgart striker Nick Woltemade, but it seems Bayern Munich will secure his signature.

However, according to journalist Sebastien Vidal, Germany temporarily withdraws from any potential deals, allowing Everton to swing the game and hijack a deal.

Any move could cost Moyes about £42m, but given that he is a young striker with plenty of room for development, it could be a master.

He could even turn to Lukaku 2.0 club.

Why Everton must sign Nick Waltermad

Lukaku’s young, strong midfielder arrived at Goodison Park. Fast forward four years later, he left after scoring 87 goals in 186 games at the club.

The Hee-Tr’s striker is a threat in front of goals, and Moyes will really like someone to copy these types of performances.

Woltemade doesn’t look like a typical center. The 6-foot-6 German, with a clumsy framework like Lukaku, may not provide the most aesthetic performance, but his effectiveness is undeniable.

Indeed, last season’s Stuttgart, Woltemade scored 17 goals in all competitions, helping the club win the German Cup in the process.

After a stunning campaign for the club, Antonio Mango praised the striker as “excellent” and he really intended for a bright future.

Not only is it competent in the face of goals, Woltemade is also impressive in taking over the opposition defender and throwing the ball into the box, just like Lukaku did at Everton Blue.

Indeed, Germany ranks in the top 1% of free throw touches (8.82) in free throw field, top 4% of successful breakups (1.72), and scores the top 3% of every 90 shooting moves (4.38).

These are the statistics that Lukaku radiates throughout his career, becoming a powerful center with moments where magic is possible.

If Moyes manages to hijack the current Stuttgart star’s move, it will be a major coup for the club. The next few weeks will indeed be interesting.
