Aston Villa is keen on £21m international stars, but he has talked to the human city

Aston Villa is now considered interested in signing a “world-class” £21m ace, which has held talks with Manchester City.

Aston Villa’s lineup alternative

Ollie Watkins’ name has been mentioned in recent weeks when moving to Premier League rival Manchester United. The 29-year-old is reportedly considered a key target for Ruben Amorim, and Watkins himself is said to be keen on moving to Old Trafford.

Villas are ready to do a way for the striker, who will take the opportunity to move to Villa Park.

Ideally Villa wanted to master England International, but they were also allegedly already priced at £60 million on Watkins. If you take a long vacation, the villa needs to find a suitable alternative, and according to recent reports, there are two names being considered.

Sky Sports reporter Sacha Tavolieri revealed over the weekend that Villa may want to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani if Watkins leaves Villa Park. The 26-year-old was on loan at Juventus in the second half of last season but now back in France, it seems he has no future.

Villa isn’t the only team interested in Kolo Muani, as Manchester United and Newcastle are eager to do it and negotiate a possible move.

Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson is also a target for Villans, as Unai Emery is a big fan of the striker after working together with Villarreal. Jackson is said to be willing to move to the villa because he is interested in working with Emery again.

Aston Villa is passionate about Denzel Dumfries

However, signing a new striker is not all Midland’s side is concerned, because according to Birmingham Live, Aston Villa is interested in signing Denzel Dumfries from Inter Milan.

Denzel Dumfries

The 29-year-old has worked with the Serie A giant since 2021 and signed a new contract last November to extend his stay until 2028. However, his new deal has a release clause worth €25 million, or about £21 million, until the end of July.

Dumfries, labeled as “world-class” by the well-known analytics firm Statmuse, is weighing his future as he has not settled in a permanent agent. The Dutch international is linked to the move to Barcelona to replace Jules Koundé, but it is even more worrying for Villa, with football pickups reporting earlier this month that Man City held talks this summer as Blues won a new right-back market in the market.

Villa does have Matty Cash and Andres Garcia to replace right-backs, but Emery may feel it’s time for the new arrivals to be deployed in various formations to serve as a back and defender.
