Former England star Paul Gascoigne rushed to hospital after his home collapses

Paul Gascoigne was reportedly taken to the hospital on Friday night after his home collapsed in Poole, Dorset.
Close friend Steve Foster found the 58-year-old former England star in his bedroom in a semi-coma state, who quickly acted to provide him with medical care.
Gascoigne was initially admitted to intensive care before being transferred to the acute medical department. By Saturday night, his condition had stabilized and he was no longer considered in direct danger.
Foster shared a feeling of gratitude on behalf of football idols, saying Gascoigne “to thank everyone for their support, he stayed away from many old friends who wanted him to be good and wanted to see him back to his form.”
He added: “Paul is in the hospital, and this is the best place he has right now.”
Family members, including Gascoigne’s daughter Bianca and his two sisters, were reportedly told about his progress.

His former football colleagues – Peter Beardsley, Chris Waddle, Paul Merson and Vinnie Jones – have also been updated.
Gasconi remains one of England’s most popular football figures. During the 1990 World Cup, he was excited by his emotional response to England’s semi-finals to the West Germany.
In his 19-year career, he won 57 England blocks, won the FA Cup with Tottenham Hotspur and won two league titles with the Rangers. He achieved one of the most iconic goals in British football history in the ’96 European euro, a solo effort toward Scotland.
Despite his football career and beyond, Gascoigne has long fought against personal demons. He retired in 2004 and his post-show life was hurt by the struggles of health and addiction.
