Grayson Rodriguez deals with new elbow soreness

Grayson Rodriguez Suffered another setback. Oriole interim manager Tony Mansolino told reporters (including Baltimore Flag Danielle Allentuck) that the right-hander is dealing with more sore elbows. Rodriguez was promoted to the bullpen meeting.
Rodriguez and Zach Eflin Considered a 1-2 pairing on top of Baltimore’s spin. Injuries ruined the season for two pitchers. Rodriguez was completely eliminated. During spring training, he was diagnosed with elbow inflammation. He was under lat pressure when he tried to resume throwing in April, leaving him shutting down for weeks. That’s his third such pull/shoulder pressure in the past four seasons. Now, the elbows him again.
Allentuck wrote that Rodriguez slightly tweaked his mechanics in a recent throwing lesson. He raised the angle of his arms to relieve stress on his shoulders. I don’t know if this has any effect on his elbow. Anyway, it was another setback for a talented pitcher, whose arms continued to cause problems for him. O will get more information in the coming days.
It is approaching the entire calendar year since Rodriguez’s last MLB appearance. He started the final start of his last season on July 31 last season. During the last two months, LAT discomfort caused him to lose. It’s fair to wonder if he’ll be able to get any Major League Baseball job this season. Even if the recent problem is small, it will delay his recovery. With two and a half months left, Rodriguez does not seem to have started a minor league mission. It is unlikely that the Orioles will play meaningful games in September. The former first-round draft pick and highest prospects have been under the club’s control over all four seasons.
Baltimore offers more encouraging updates Kyle Bradish. Righty, 28, will hold two sets of exercises tomorrow before starting his rehabilitation work (passed by Jake Rill of MLB.com). Bradish underwent Tommy John’s surgery 13 months ago. Usually, pitchers can spend up to 30 days on rehabilitation tasks. For those who have returned from Tommy John’s surgery, this can be extended by 30 days. If all goes well, Bradish should return to the MLB club around early September. Even then, O’s season was almost over, and he was able to spin a few times in preparation for a typical offseason.
