Pacers become a favorite of signing Victor Oladipo

According to Bovada Sportsbook, the Indiana Pacers are the current leader and can sign Victor Oladipo if he returns to the NBA. The 33-year-old reportedly impressed coaches, team executives and scouts during a private workout in Las Vegas on Monday.
Victor Oladipo plays last NBA in the 2023 playoffs
According to Jeremy Woo of ESPN, several attendees “impressed” during the professional conference, “Oladipo was described as being in good shape when he pursued another comeback.”
Woo noted that Oladipo’s workout attracted a large audience, “a large number of NBA and European teams participated.” He reportedly “played five-on-five in group workouts for international professionals.”
Oladipo played in the 2023 playoffs for the last time. He tore his left knee bone tendon in April against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Oladipo, who is 6-foot-3, has played for nearly four seasons in Indiana.
Oladipo was ranked second by the Orlando Magic at the 2013 draft at Indiana University Bloomington. He spent his first three seasons in the Magic and 2016-17 before joining the Pacers in 2017.
Oladipo wins the NBA’s most progressive Pacers
In the 2017-18 season, Oladipo’s career highs were 23.1 points and 2.4 steals against Indiana, with 5.2 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.4 steals per game.
The Maryland native was named the NBA’s most progressive player and became the third team in the NBA and an all-defensive team in 2018. He also won votes for the sport’s MVP and Defensive Player of the Year.
Multiple knee injuries and rupture of the quadriplegic tendon delayed Oladipo’s NBA return. After he resumed his action and needed a second surgery in 2021, his quadric tendon injury remains a problem.
Oladipo has only 102 games in NBA games since suffering a limb injury in January 2018. He has not played at least 50 games in one campaign since the 2017-18 season.
But, “there are some considerations in the league right now” and he may work hard to make the roster in the rave. Sources say he may sign a minimum deal for veterans.
Oladipo wrote in an article on X on Sunday that he felt “awesome now” and he thought he had the ability to help a team because “my injury is behind me and it will never happen again.”
