Aston Villa forward Ollie Watkins reportedly made an offer this summer to prepare for Manchester United’s transfer.

With a value of around £50m, Watkins recently established itself as one of the top strikers in the Premier League, so it could be a major upgrade for Rasmus Hojlund at Old Trafford.

Attracted by the side Man Utd’s interest in Watkins has been reported recently and has now further updated the future of England International.

According to the sports, if the opportunity arises, Watkins, equivalent to £50m, will open Manchester United.

Still, it remains to be seen whether the Red Devils will certainly use Watkins as their top target.

It would be a big blow for Villa to lose Watkins to MUFC, especially since the Unai Emery side is actually in a stronger state.

Midland’s costumes may have barely missed the Champions League qualification, but they still have Europa League football to look forward to next season.

By comparison, Manchester United seems to be trapped in a real rut after ranking 15th on the table with no European football next semester.

Still, they are a big enough name that seems to still attract people like Watkins.

So far, Man United

It’s obvious that after the summer transfer window slowly started, Ruben Amorim needed a signature like Watkins around him.

According to Track and Field, although the club bids for improved Bryan Mbeumo of Brentford, only Matheus Cunha appears.

One thinks that sales of players are also needed, however, Amorim still has unnecessary mistakes such as Marcus Rashford, Jaden Sancho, Anthony and Alejandro Garnacho in his squad.
