Knicks’ Josh Hart will return to basketball this summer after surgery on his finger
Despite a 51-31 record in the regular season, the Knicks collapsed in the playoffs. The team has participated in the finals for the first time in 25 years.

Recently, it was announced that a Knicks player is undergoing a process this offseason. Josh Hart has undergone surgery on his right finger but is expected to return to basketball this summer.

The 2024-25 season is Josh Hart’s eighth career year in the NBA, with the Knicks third. At the 2022-23 trade deadline, the Knicks reached an agreement with Portland to acquire Hart. In return, they sent Trail Blazers Cam Reddish, Ryan Arcidiacono, Svi Mykhailiuk, and a 2023 first-round draft pick protected by the lottery. Hart played 183 games in New York and had 120 games in three seasons.
Last season, he played 77 of 82 games in the Knicks. Hart leads the NBA 37.6 minutes per game. The 30-year-old did something for the Knicks. Josh Hart is known for his intensity when he stepped onto the court. He was a selfless player and finally won. NBA insiders announced that Hart had recently undergone surgery on his right finger.

In the photo above, you can see some splint or protective measures on his fingers. Josh Hart is expected to resume Nicks’ basketball campaign this summer.
At the end of the New York playoffs, Josh Hart became a rotation player on the bench. Former head coach Tom Thibodeau has doubled the roster with Karl-Anthony Towns and Mitchell Robinson.
