Bournemouth has signed Chelsea goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic for £25m.

Petrovic has signed a five-year contract and will establish a connection with Bournemouth Squad.

I want to improve – Petroleum

The Serbian said: “I’m really happy to be here. I’m here to Bournemouth because I want to grow, I want to play at the best level. With this club, with these facilities, I think we can achieve it. I want to help the team get results, improve every day and be a better player.”

Petrovic last season on loan at Strasbourg, helping them finish seventh in Ligue 1 and won the club’s season player award.

Oil Signature Request Pinto

He is associated with the move of newly promoted Sunderland, where Tiago Pinto, president of football business at Bournemouth, is pleased to bring the 25-year-old to Vitality Stadium.

Pinto said: “I’m really happy to bring Djordje to the club. The opportunity we have to take to sign his caliber player, which is something we have to take, especially given the goalkeeper’s position is crucial.

“We are always looking for the right talent to invest in this area of the court, and Djordje has a very impressive quality and a lot of experience for those who are still young. We are glad he is the one who is about to join our project and look forward to working with him.”

Petrovic is the third summer arrival at Bournemouth, with Rennes and Junior Kroupi’s Adrian Truffert on loan at Lorient in the second half of last season.
