Everton takes Mark Travers as Jordan Pickford

Everton signed Bournemouth goalkeeper Mark Travers to provide competition for England’s No. 1 Jordan Pickford.
Travers’ move was confirmed today, with Toffees paying undisclosed fees and the player signing a four-year contract.
The 26-year-old joined Bournemouth in 2016 but has made only 82 appearances in nine years, with loaned Middlesbrough at Weymouth, Swinton and Stoke, who played him in the second half of last season.

“Jordan is great”
Pickford is the established No. 1, but Travers hopes to push the former Sunderland all the way.
He added: “Jordan [Pickford] He is an outstanding goalkeeper in the club and the country. I look forward to competing with everyone here and becoming a Premier League player.

“It’s always exciting to work with a new group and be able to help young lads. I’ll do everything I can. I’ll be proud to do the right thing on the court and on the court and represent the club with great pride.”
